Who is Get On Top Adult Shop?

Get On Top Adult Shop is a female owned and operated retail store operating in Taree, NSW, Australia. We pride ourselves on offering a great range of high quality, safe and reasonably priced adult products and honest, discreet, respectful and knowledgeable service.

It is 100% Australian owned and operated. We are committed to providing a safe, non-judgemental and inclusive space for our customers regardless of gender, age, race or sexual orientation. We are proud members of ACON's Welcome Home Project.

 

Do you have any retail stores? When are you open?

We certainly do. We operate from 130 Victoria St, Taree, NSW, 2430. We're open Tuesday - Friday from 9am to 5pm and on Saturday from 10am-1pm (excluding public holidays). This website is operated by the Taree store and all orders are dispatched from Taree during our trading hours.

 

It's my first time in a adult shop. What can I expect?

If you're in the Manning Valley, please call in and see us :-) Whether it's your first time in an adult shop or not, you'll be pleasantly surprised! Our shop has been thoughtfully designed to be the kind of shop we would want to shop in...a comfortable, inviting and non-intimidating space. Our focus is on providing products such as toys, aids, lubricants and enhancers that can help people enjoy greater satisfaction, pleasure and intimacy. As such, we do not sell drug paraphernalia nor do we offer any massage or sex-on-premises services.

Our knowledgeable staff are friendly, mature, respectful and approachable. We offer a diverse range of products to cater for all experience levels and orientations. We have a table called our "Play Station" set up with testers of many of our products so you can see and feel what you're buying as well as pamphlets and information about safer practices, building communication and intimacy as well as local sexual health services.

 

Do you have a loyalty program? How can I find out about new stock and sales?

We have an VIP program which gives you exclusive access to sales, discounts and promotions. Our VIP's also find out first about new stock that's coming in and you will receive a special gift from us on your birthday. To become a VIP member, all you need to do is subscribe to our weekly email newsletter either in store or using the pop-up window on our website.

The product I'm looking for isn't in stock. Can I place a special order?

If there is a specific product or variant of a product that you're looking for but we do not have it in stock, we are happy to draw on our international network of suppliers and source the product for you where possible with a special order. Please call into the store or contact us by phone or email with the details of the product you're after and we will let you know if we can source it, how much it will cost and give you an estimate of how long it will take to come in.

  • A deposit of 50% of the total special order price is required to be paid before any products can be ordered from our suppliers.
  • The total cost of your special order (including postage where applicable) must be paid in full before your order can be collected from the shop or shipped to you.
  • Payment can be made in person or by direct deposit, PayPal or by credit card over the phone.
  • We will contact you by your preferred contact method as soon as practical when the item arrives in the store.
  • If you do not wish to proceed with your special order, please note that a cancellation fee of 50% of the total order price will apply.

 

How can I pay for my order?

You can purchase items using your credit card or PayPal account. In-store we also accept EFTPOS and cash payments, PayPal and ZipPay. We do not currently offer AfterPay.

 

What options do I have for receiving my order?

During the checkout process, you can choose to have your order shipped to you or you can select "Collect From Shop" to pick up your order from our retail shop during business hours. For more information, please refer to our Shipping page.

 

What will show on my credit card statement?

When you purchase from Get On Top Adult Shop the details that appear on your credit card statement are ‘GOT Pty Ltd’. There is no mention of Adult Shop.

 

Are batteries included with my order?

Some manufacturers include batteries in the packaging of their products but many don't. Please refer to the individual product description as we indicate whether batteries are included as well as the type and quantity of batteries the product consumes. If you are unsure or would like more information, please contact us.

 

Can I return or exchange a product if I change my mind or I don’t like it?

Due to safety and hygiene reasons, we cannot exchange or refund products because you have changed your mind, even if the product hasn't been opened. We also cannot offer an exchange or refund on products if you purchase a product from us and find that you do not enjoy using it as much as you anticipated. 

We do our best to source and recommend products that our customers will enjoy but we are unable to guarantee that any product that you purchase from us will satisfy you as we are all different, especially in terms of the type and intensity of stimulation we like as well as the size and shape of our anatomy. We ask that you select your products carefully and if you have any questions or would like some guidance for selecting a toy that might best suit your needs, please call into the shop or contact us.

 

What if my product doesn't work?

If your product doesn't turn on or function correctly, please return the product to the store along with your receipt or proof of purchase. Alternatively, please contact us by email or phone for a returns form and instructions on how to return the product to us. For more information, please refer to our Returns section.

 

Do you offer lay-bys?

We offer an in store lay-by service for your convenience.

  • We offer no minimum price lay-by on all products except perishable goods (e.g., lubricants), supplements, media and sale items. Once placed, a lay-by cannot be modified.
  • We require a minimum deposit of 20% of the total lay-by purchase price to secure your lay-by. The lay-by must be paid in full before any items can be collected.
  • We offer a lay-by period up to a maximum of twelve weeks. Regular instalments must be paid every 2 weeks either in person in store, by direct deposit or by credit card over the phone.
  • If the lay-by is not paid in full by the completion date of the lay-by, we will give you a courtesy call or email. If we do not hear back from you, your lay-by may be cancelled.
  • If you choose to cancel your lay-by or your lay-by is cancelled for non-payment, a cancellation fee of 20% of the total lay-by price will apply.
